#3A
Common - Put up 4"&wider, 6'&longer, 100% Red 1
Face, 50% red opposite face. Also, we pull out any boards that contain
excessive gum. The lengths are 6' 16', with the majority 6' 10'. Because
we use optimizing equipment to virtually eliminate wane, our #3A Common
is a good alternative to #2A Common.
#3
Common - Put up 4"&wider, 6'&longer, unselected
for color. The lumber makes an excellent "rustic" product where
the sound defects are left in.
Prime
"B" - Our Prime "B" grade contains boards
that are too sappy or do not meet our minimum gum specifications for our
prime grade. Excellent choice for price sensitive buyers who want to keep
character in the lumber or are staining the product.
